Webinar: Could better data and connected technology support healthier homes?
People working in housing, data, digital and connected technology are invited to register for a free online webinar hosted by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), with the chance to ask questions during the session.
Date and time: Wednesday 7 October, 9:30 - 10:30am
Housing providers are dealing with ageing stock, rising costs and stretched teams. The webinar will look at how better data, connectivity and connected-home technology could help them spot issues sooner and act before problems become more serious.
The session will explore where connected technology could have the most impact, what gets in the way, and how providers can use it confidently in ways that work for residents and frontline teams.
John Duncan (Connected Places Lead at GMCA) will open the session with a short introduction to the issues, opportunities and practical questions facing housing providers. He will then be joined by guest speakers for a panel discussion, followed by audience questions.
Whether you are already delivering connected homes projects or are beginning to explore the possibilities, this is an opportunity to hear from peers, share ideas and contribute to the conversation about healthier homes.
The event is part of Digitober 2026, Greater Manchester’s annual programme celebrating digital innovation, skills and inclusion.
