Survey: What role can technology play in a healthy home?
People working across housing in Greater Manchester are invited to complete a short survey exploring how better data and connected technology could help identify problems earlier and support healthier homes.
The survey will help shape future resources, guidance and activity shared through the Connected Homes Innovation Hub, so they reflect the real priorities, opportunities and concerns facing housing organisations across the city-region.
Views are welcome from people working in housing management, asset management, repairs, resident engagement, sustainability, care, data, digital and leadership roles. You do not need to be involved in a technology project already to take part.
John Duncan, Connected Places Lead at Greater Manchester Combined Authority, has recorded a short video explaining why views from across the housing sector are important and how the survey will help shape future support:
Shaping support that works in practice
Responses will help identify where there is interest, what concerns need to be addressed, and what support would make connected homes activity useful, trusted and practical for residents and frontline teams.
The insight gathered will inform resources, guidance and activity shared through the Hub, including support for organisations moving from early interest or small pilots towards wider delivery.
Take part by 25 September 2026
Please complete the survey by 25 September 2026. It should only take a short time, and you can also share it with colleagues, partners or networks who may have a useful perspective.
